CLINICAL OFFICERS 

The Wesley Mission Hospital Clinical Officers are here to provide quality, compassionate care.   A Clinical Officer is on duty 24 hours 7 days a week.   Whether it is for an existing or new medical concern, our Clinical Officers will provide a complete and thorough assessment, order necessary testing, diagnose the medical concern, prescribe medications, and prepare a treatment plan, or refer the client to the appropriate facility,

MWAURA JOSEPH, DIRECTOR MEDICAL SERVICES

 

Registered clinical officer Mwaura Joseph,Has been tasked responsibility of ensuring all medical service run smooth and efficiently in order to insure :

 

  • Client receive reliable and affordable medical care with an unparalleled maternity suite  

  • Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of medical, nursing, technical, clerical, service, maintenance, and other personnel.

  • Establish work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space and equipment availability.

  • Guiding, Directing, and Motivating Subordinates - Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance

  • Processing Information - Compiling, coding, categorising, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.

  • scheduling and planning monthly outreach to impact the community around our area-Medical camps, Motivation talks around neighbouring schools.

  • Developing Objectives and Strategies - Establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.

ROSEBELLA ODERA, Registered Nurse

Nurse Rosebella joined the Wesley Mission Hospital staff in 2017, currently she is the nurse in-charge. Rosebella is one of our experienced nurse and portrays leadership skills  to other nurses, she is highly qualified nurse who completed her study in 2004 in KMTC.Above all this her skills in midwifery has enable Wesley mission hospital to register over 15 maternity deliveries monthly.

Cyrus Kandagor, Clinical Officer incharge

Registered clinical officer Cyrus Kandagor has worked with Wesley hospital for over 8 years, with this experience he is passionate in offering primary health care services to all clients who comes seeking medical services at Wesley hospital, his roles and duties include;

Monitoring and providing appropriate clinical care ( medical and surgical) to patients on hospital wards and in outpatient clinics,Admitting patients requiring special care followed by investigations and treatment.

Examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions,Making notes and preparing paperwork, both as a legal record of treatment and for the benefit of other healthcare professionals,Issuing a preliminary discharge summary to each patient prior to them leaving hospital, in accordance with service specifications,Liaising with other medical and non-medical staff in the hospital to ensure quality treatment,Ensuring that comprehensive hospital medical records for all in and outpatients are accurately,Providing educational and clinical experience for clinical staff, organizing and planning for CME.
